SITE POLICIES, MODIFICATION, AND SEVERABILITY

Please review our policies below. These policies also govern your in-store visit to SP Guns-N-Ammo, Inc. We reserve the right to make changes to our site, policies, and these Conditions of Use at any time. If any of these conditions shall be deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that condition shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition.

Returns/Cancellations

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) request within 10 business days of the receipt of the product. If the item is returned unopened in the original box, we will exchange it, offer you store credit, or offer you a refund, less 25% restocking fee, based on your original method of payment. The product must be returned within 10 business days of the issuance of the RMA. All products must be packed in the original packaging, including any accessories, manuals, documentation and registration that shipped with the product. A 15% open box fee in addition to the 25% restocking fee (totaling 40%) will be assessed on any sealed product that is opened or removed from its original packaging.

Please note that we do not permit the return of the following products:
   1. Special orders and products that are custom configured to your specifications.
   2. Products sold "as is" or "used" or that have been installed or used after receipt.
   3. Firearms, once transferred to buyer.
   4. Illumination devices, electronic sights, optics and night vision equipment.

NOTE: We recommend that you use a carrier that offers shipment tracking for all returns, and either insure your package for safe return or declare the full value of the shipment so that you are protected if the shipment is lost or damaged in transit. If you chose not to use a carrier that offers tracking and insure or declare the full value of the product, you will be responsible for any loss or damage to the product during shipping.

The United States Postal Service (USPS) offers limited tracking capabilities and that there is a 30-calendar-day waiting period before USPS will initiate a trace. The customer is responsible for shipping charges both ways on returns, as well as for shipping charges on shipments that are refused.

CONSIGNMENT POLICY

With our consignment program, our main focus is to ensure all parties (buyer, seller and our shop) get what they need and everyone feels that they got a great deal. That being said, we must abide by federal laws and our own store policies when we evaluate potential firearms for the consignment program. All firearms MUST be able to successfully achieve all three of the criteria listed below:

1. All firearms must be legally owned by the seller and that each firearm is legal for us to re-sell on their behalf.
2. We are unable to receive any firearm that is damaged, not in working condition or be in any suspect condition. We want to ensure that the item is safe for any and all potential buyers, thus we would need to decline any item that does not function properly.
3. Each firearm will be evaluated on an individual, case-by-case basis. SP GUN-N-AMMO reserves the right to decline any firearm that does not offer our potential buyers the very best in quality, reliability, price point and function.

If for any reason a seller wants to re-acquire any firearm they place on consignment (per ATF guidelines and Federal law), they MUST fill out and pass a background check via ATF Form 4473 before they can legally re-acquire the firearm. If for any reason the seller is declined by the ATF, by law, the item must remain with SP GUNS-N-AMMO until we can successfully sell, transfer or dispose of the item on the seller's behalf.

General Firearm Sales

All firearms, magazines, receivers and restricted law enforcement items are sold and shipped in accordance with all existing federal, state and local laws and regulations. Many of the firearms, magazines and parts for sale on this website may be restricted or prohibited in your area. Please check your local and state regulations before ordering. You must be 18 or older to purchase a long gun and 21 or older to purchase a handgun per ATF rules, but state and local laws may differ and you will need to check your local laws before purchasing a firearm.

All new firearms are shipped in the original manufacturer's box, with magazine(s), accessories and applicable warranty. Firearms requiring warranty work must be returned to the factory within 1 year of purchase for repair. Accessories and special order items not normally sold by our store will not be covered under warranty even if these products are part of an integrated firearms package, unless we have guaranteed the entire package in writing. Please contact the original manufacturer for warranty information on all accessories and special order items.

Consumer Data Privacy

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it.

The Credit Card Billing Information, Shipping Information, and Contact Information in our checkout process are required in order to process your order and deliver the product to you. We store some information for accounting reasons. Your information will not be shown to third parties not involved in the transaction, nor used to send you any unrequested information. The entire Checkout process is handled through a secure SSL-encrypted connection.

The Credit Card Billing Information is sent directly to our payment provider who processes your credit card transaction. The credit card information is neither recorded nor stored by us, and it can only be accessed by our payment provider. Each transaction has a very high level of security. Your credit card details are sent directly to the payment provider over a secure SSL-encrypted connection. They are not processed on our servers at any stage of the transaction, nor are they stored on our server.

Secure Transmission

All information collected during the checkout process is transmitted via industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) featuring 128-bit encryption. A Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) Certificate creates an encrypted link between a website and a visitor's Web browser. This link ensures that all data passed between the website and the browser remains private and secure.

Order Fulfillment

All orders are shipped promptly from our warehouse or in-store inventory within 3 - 10 business days using UPS, FedEx, or USPS. Tracking numbers are available for items shipped via UPS and FedEx.

Online Price & Description Errors

Our online inventory changes every day. Occasionally an item may appear on the site by mistake or the item's description may contain a typographical error. We do not guarantee that titles, descriptions, pictures or prices on our site are error-free. We reserve the right to refuse any order including but not limited to orders for items with errors in the description or price. In the event that we cancel an order we will not charge the customer's credit card or we will refund the money.

If an item's description contains an error such as incorrect photo, price, accessory or description and a customer makes the order, we will not process the order without first contacting the customer. If the order is mistakenly shipped, we may advise the customer to return the item in an unopened condition and we will refund the customer. By placing an order, the customer agrees that $dealerName will be the final arbiter of discrepancies in the online catalog.

Ammunition Purchases

You must be 18 or older to purchase rifle or shotgun ammunition and 21 or older to purchase handgun ammunition. All ammunition will be shipped ground with adult signature required. Always make sure to use the correct ammunition for your specific firearms. Check your local laws for any other regulations. *All ammunition sales will comply with local and state laws and will not be shipped to any restricted areas.*

CPL Training Classes.

The CPL training consists of a one-day class that we do every other or third Sunday each month. The class is taught by our NRA-Certified Instructor. Upon completion of the class, you will receive your Certificate to which you will turn in to your County of Residence Sheriff's Department.

Requirements to Complete CPL Package for WAYNE COUNTY or your County of Residence:


  • CPL TRAINING COURSE CERTIFICATE

  • Complete the MI CONCEAL PISTOL LICENSE APPLICATION. DO NOT SIGN IT!

  • No photo's needed. They now use your current Driver's License photo.

  • Take the above along with $115 to:
  • Wayne County Clerk's Office at 2 Woodward Ave, Detroit, MI (313)224-5333

  • Subsequent to processing your application, fingerprints will be taken. No appointment is necessary.

    • If you live outside of Wayne County, you will need to contact YOUR County of residence Sheriff Department to obtain the proper location to submit your CPL application.


    Pricing:


    $125 per Person. You can pay one of three ways:


  • Pay up-front. This guarantees your spot in the class.

  • Pay half at sign-up then other half day of class. This guarantees your spot in the class.

  • Pay day of class. We will sign you up but, this DOES NOT guarantee your spot.

    • Registrant's that do not pay up-front will be bumped to the next available class as people who pay either by deposit or up-front for the upcoming class have priority. Class size is limited to 12 people per class, so register early, they fill up quick!

    If you have not paid for or put a deposit down, we STRONGLY RECOMMEND that you call ahead of time to see if your spot is still available!

    Requirements to enroll:


    You must be 21 years old and resident of the State of Michigan with a valid photo ID. You may use your own firearm. 50 rounds of ammo are required to complete the Range/Shooting portion of the class.


    Rental:


    Rental guns are NOT available from SP GUNS-N-Ammo to those who don't have a firearm for the shooting portion of the class.


    Rental guns are provided by the Gun Range, NOT by SP GUNS-N-AMMO.

    SP Guns-N-Ammo, Inc. will make every effort to insure your order is shipped accurately and the product meets the standards of our advertising.

    SP Guns-N-Ammo, Inc. follows all Federal, State and Local firearms laws. The following policies are not indicitive of the entire 50 States. Please be aware of YOUR Local, State and Federal Laws prior to ordering. Please review the following policies:

  • Must be 18 years old to purchase ammunition. Must be 21 years old to purchase Handgun Ammunition and/or Firearms. (Proof of age and residency required to be on file, by way of a completed Ammunition Waiver for all ammunition orders prior to ordering)

  • Purchaser must have a C&R License (03), FFL License(01) or FFL "Dealer Transfer" on file BEFORE firearm orders are shipped. FFL's may be mailed/faxed to us and MUST BE SIGNED AND DATED. C&R's must be signed, dated and mailed in.

  • Ammunition orders are separate from firearm orders. Ammunition WILL NOT ship in same shipment as firearm orders.

  • Ammunition orders will ship first. Handguns will ship next business day for same purchase.

  • AMERICAN EXPRESS CREDIT CARD(AMEX) CANNOT be used for in-store, phoned-in or web orders at this time. Sorry for any inconvenience.

  • No sale of Ammunition in COOK County, Illinois. Illinois residents MUST have FOID card on file to purchase ammunition.

  • No sale of Ammunition to MONTGOMERY County and ANNAPOLIS, Maryland residents.

  • No sale of Ammunition or Firearms to the States of Massachusetts or New Jersey.

  • No sale of Ammunition to Cincinnati, Ohio residents.

  • No sale of Ammunition to New York City residents (all boroughs), or Yonkers, NY residents.

  • Sale of Ammunition to Nevada residents MUST ship to a TYPE 01 FFL Dealer.

  • ILLINOIS customers: NO Firearm sales to CHICAGO or COOK County. An FOID card must be on file for C&R Licensees to purchase C&R Firearms.

  • MARYLAND customers: All C&R handguns MUST be sent to 01 FFL Dealers only. NO C&R long guns are eligible for purchase to MARYLAND residents.

  • NEW YORK customers: All C&R handguns MUST be sent to 01 FFL Dealers only.

  • CONNETICUT customers: NO C&R handgun sales to C&R Licensees.

  • Long Gun/Ammunition orders will be shipped via UPS Ground. 1-5 Days.

  • Handguns will be shipped via UPS 2nd Day Air to C&R Holders or to FFL Holders for a reduced shipping rate. All other orders will be shipped via UPS Next Day Air. Phone (734-)225-7426 for ordering and shipping quotes, Monday thru Saturday during normal business hours.

  • SPECIAL ORDER ITEMS MUST BE PAID IN ADVANCE and have a NO RETURN policy.

  • Consignment fee is 20% of Final Sale Price. Call for consignment contract terms.

  • Due to the new Michigan Law, effective 2-13-2024, SP Guns-N-Ammo, Inc. charges a FEE of $25.00 for a "Dealer Transfer" for any non-MI CPL PRIVATE TRANSFER.

  • SP Guns-N-Ammo, Inc. charges a FEE of $40.00 for a "Dealer Transfer" to any non-FFL Holder.

  • Multiple Item rates per transfers are as follows: 1 Item $40, 2 Items $70, 3 Items $80, 4 Items $90, 5 Items $110, 6+ Items $140.

  • Shipping costs are determined by WEIGHT of purchase and purchaser's RECEIVING ZIP CODE.

  • If you wish to know shipping charges prior to ordering, you can call during normal business hours or send an email requesting shipping charge rates for you. Please include your Destination Zip Code, Product and Quantity you wish to order in your email.

  • Any orders totaling over 65lbs. will be broken down as evenly as possible, into two shipments with additional shipping charges. Note: a case of ammo is approx. 2840lbs., depending on ammo.

  • Cases of ammunition will ship as individual cases, NOT combined.

  • All orders are shipped via UPS. Call (734)225-7426 between the hours of 11am and 5pm EST, Monday thru Friday, to setup an appointment for pickup.

  • PAYING by CASH or MONEY ORDER, purchaser may call the order in by phone or purchaser must specify that they wish to pay by cash or money order by typing "Cash/Money Order" (type only which payment method you are using, not all three) in the "FFL Text Field" on the CHECKOUT page when completing order form. Note: Order MUST be submitted with Credit Card information. Credit cards WILL NOT be charged when paying by cash, check or money order is specified in the "FFL Text Field".

  • Orders paid by money order will not ship until money order has cleared. Normally, 3-7 business days.

  • NO COD SHIPPED Orders accepted.

  • CASH payment ONLY accepted for LOCAL PICKUP unless otherwise stated. For more information on cash orders please email spguns-n-ammo@wowway.com or call during normal business hours.

  • Prices and availability of items is subject to change without notice.

  • No Returns will be accepted after 20 days of the invoice date.

  • No Returns on ammunition orders unless wrong product shipped by our error.

  • Long Guns have a 3-day, no-fire inspection Return Policy unless otherwise stated.

  • Return Shipping Charges are the customers responsibility. If the wrong product was shipped by our error, shipping charges will be reimbursed to customer.

  • Upon receipt of the returned product(s), we reserve the right to evaluate the return to determine if a refund will be made.

  • REFUNDS: Refunds will be made in the same manner in which payment was made. (ie. credit card purchases will be returned in the form of a credit to the original card account.) ALL REFUNDS are subject to a 10% Return Fee. If we deem a return was made without reasonable cause, where in our judgment the product meets advertised condition, the refund will be subject to a 25% Restocking Fee.

  • DEPOSITS: At this time, ALL DEPOSITS are NON-REFUNDABLE. If we deem a Deposit is to be refunded with a reasonable cause, the deposit will be refunded in the same manner in which it was made.

  • REPAIRS/LABOR RATE: Labor rate is $50 per hour with a minimum 1/2 hour charge.

  • NO EXCHANGES accepted.

    Q: What is an FFL, or Federal Firearms License?


    A: A Federal Firearms License is a License Granted by the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms to an Individual/Business that allows them to purchase approved firearms for Resale purposes. For more information on FFL's and how to obtain them, visit the National Licensing Center's Website at http://www.atf.gov

    Q: How do I purchase a Firearm from SP Guns-N-Ammo?


    A: You must be at least 21 years old and have never been convicted of a felony. You do not have to be a Licensed Dealer (FFL holder) or a C&R holder to buy a firearm. If you are not a Licensed Dealer or C&R holder, you must make arrangements with an FFL holder in your state to receive the item and transfer it to you. A fee is normally charged to the buyer by the FFL holder for the transfer (Note to C&R holders: if you are a C&R holder, we can ship directly to you upon receipt of an inked signed copy of your C&R License via mail). Virtually anyone who is involved in the sale or distribution of firearms is an FFL holder, including gun shops. By contacting the FFL holder before purchasing a firearm, the buyer can verify that all state and federal laws will be observed. For most firearms, the buyer must be able to pass a background check

    Q: Will SP Guns-N-Ammo do "special orders" for customers?


    A: YES, we will "special order" any item for you. Please note that all "special order" items must be paid for in advance and have a no-return policy on them.

    Q: What are your shipping costs?


    A: Shipping costs will be determined upon order processing. You will receive and email with your total costs after order has been reviewed and approved. Shipping costs are determined by the Zip Code of the customer's ship-to address and Weight of order. You may inquire about shipping costs prior to ordering by email, fax or phone.

    Q: How do I know if I am complying with my Local and State laws?


    A: This is a very good question. YOU must know that your purchase will not violate any of your local or state laws. Asking the right people the right questions and research is the best answer. Contact your State Attorney General's office, check their website, get in touch with your local Department of Law Enforcement, etc. Remember, Ignorance in not an excuse

    Q: What is a "Dealer Transfer"?


    A: A Dealer Transfer takes place when a "01" Federally Licensed Firearms dealer transfers a firearm to a Non-FFL Holder or consumer. If you are a consumer desiring to purchase a firearm from SP Guns-n-Ammo, you must first locate a dealer in your area, who is willing to order/transfer the firearm to you. All fees for the transfer must be negotiated by you with the transferring dealer. You must have the permission from the dealer before placing an order to be shipped to the FFL dealer for transfer of the firearm(s). All firearms ordered for Dealer Transfer must be shipped to the dealer's licensed premise address.

    Q: Will SP Guns-N-Ammo do a "Dealer Transfer"?


    A: YES, for a fee of $40.00, we will handle a dealer transfer for you. Multiple firearm transfers cost more per number of firearms per single transfer. See the "Policies" Page for pricing.

    Q: What is a C&R 03 License, or Curio and Relic?


    A: A type 03 Curio and Relics (C&R) License is a type of Federal Firearms License granted by the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms to an Individual that allows them to purchase approved firearms for collecting purposes. A type 03 Curio and Relics License is a collecting license only; this license does NOT permit the holder to deal in firearms. License fee is $30 for three years. A C&R licensee may buy and collect C&R Firearms from all over the country, and have them delivered to your door! A C&R License is a great way to avoid sometimes lengthy background checks, and Dealer Transfer Fees. A firearm classified as a Curio or Relic is one that the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms has deemed to have significant historical value and worthy to Collect. C&R Firearms are always Military Surplus, and typically 50 years or older. Please check your state laws for additional restrictions regarding C&R firearms purchases.

    Q: May I pick up my order?


    A: Local pickup is available in-store. All other orders must be shipped via UPS NEXT DAY AIR or UPS GROUND. See "Store Policies" for number and hours to call.

    Q: Will you ship to California, Hawaii or Washington D.C.?


    A: No. Unfortunately, we do not ship to those locations at this time. Nor do we ship to New Jersey or Massachusettes. We apologize for this inconvenience.

    Q: Will you ship Internationally?


    A: No. Unfortunately, we do not ship Internationally. We apologize for this inconvenience.
