We are now offering CPL Training classes!
The CPL class is a one-day class that we do every other Sunday.
The class is taught by our
NRA-Certified Instructor. Upon completion of the class you will receive your Certificate to which you will include in your packet that you will turn in to your County of Residence Sherriff's Department. The shooting instruction/Range time is completed at
Wolverine Shooting Sports.
Classes start at 10am and go until approx. 6pm.
Class schedule:
10am - 3pm......Classroom Instruction. (In-Store)
3pm - 4pm........Lunch Break.
4:15pm - 6pm...Shooting Range Instruction. (At Wolverine)
6pm..................Certificate handout.
Pricing:
$100 per Person. You can pay one of three ways:
a) Pay up-front. This guarantee's your spot in the class.
b) Pay half at sign-up then other half day of class. This guarantee's your spot in the class.
c) Pay day of class. We will sign you up but, this DOES NOT guarantee your spot.
Registrant's that do not pay up-front or put half down will be bumped as people who pay either by deposit or up-front for the next available class.
$175 per "Couple" - "Couple" is defined as any TWO people who signup to take the class together on the same day. This is a savings of $12.50 per person!
If you have not paid up-front or put a deposit down for the class we STRONGLY RECOMMEND that you call ahead of time to see if your spot is still available!
Rental:
Rental guns are available to those who don't have a gun for the shooting portion of the class. Rental guns require the purchase of 50rds of ammo. Rental fees and ammo are additional to the cost of the class.
Requirements to enroll:
You must be 21 years old and resident of the State of Michigan with a valid photo ID. You may use your own firearm or rent a firearm. 50 rounds of ammo are required to complete the Range portion of the class.
Requirements to Complete CPL Package for WAYNE COUNTY:
1. Complete the CPL TRAINING COURSE
3. Get a PASSPORT quality photo taken at any CVS, WALGREEN's or US POST OFFICE.
4. Take all the above along with $105, CASH or MONEY ORDER ONLY, to either one of two places:
a) Wayne County Clerk's Office at 2 Woodward Ave, Detroit, MI (313)224-5333 or
b) Wayne County Clerk's Western-Wayne Satellite Office at 3100 Henry Ruff Rd. Westland, MI (734)326-4690
5. Subsequent to processing your application, fingerprints will be taken at either location. No appointment is necessary.
